Drew Brees and Philip Rivers are more than a decade removed from their quarterback controversy with the San Diego Chargers from 2004-06, and they’ve grown into friendly rivals while racking up more than 100,000 passing yards between them.
They even arranged a flag football game between their sons this offseason.
But that doesn’t mean their competitive juices have dissipated. So Brees probably wasn’t sleeping too well after Rivers and the Los Angeles Chargers' quarterbacks beat Brees and the New Orleans Saints' QBs at their own game Thursday.
