PFF ranks Saints receiving corps among the NFL's best in 2020

The New Orleans Saints offense made a big upgrade by adding wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders, with new teammate Michael Thomas describing the veteran’s arrival as a “great piece to the puzzle.”

Drew Brees has led the Saints to victory for decades despite a constantly-changing supporting cast, but the group he’s working with in what might be his final year looks like one of the better receiving corps the Saints have fielded in years.

That’s what Pro Football Focus analyst Ben Linsey suggested in a recent ranking of the NFL’s pass-catching squadrons. He listed the Saints as the fourth-best group around the league, praising New Orleans for putting the Thomas-Sanders tandem together as well as their other options like Jared Cook and Alvin Kamara.
