THIBODAUX -- For the first time in almost two decades, Peyton Manning has no training camp for which to prepare.
At the 21st annual Manning Passing Academy at Nicholls State University on Friday, the two-time Super Bowl champion confirmed he hasn't thrown a football much since retiring, nor does he plan to throw.
"It's hard to believe it's been 21 years, but a lot of changes for me this year," Manning said. "Obviously, I've been coming here all 21 years, and it's the first year I'm not throwing anymore.
"I'm out of eligibility. ... I threw some passes to some wounded warriors at the White House on the lawn and that was a pretty neat experience, but besides that I have not thrown.
