When the New Orleans Saints played the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, Seahawks coach Pete Carroll and his team got their first real look at Alvin Kamara. They hadn’t played the Saints since the 2015 season, and Kamara was drafted in 2017 — so they didn’t have any prior experience to work with before lining up against him, besides game tape. And while Carroll and his staff thought they had a good idea of what Kamara was capable of, the Seahawks head coach admitted Monday that Kamara exceeded his own expectations.
Carroll made an appearance on an ESPN 710 radio show in Seattle, reviewing the week’s game against the Saints and fielding a few questions from the hosts.
