Paulson Adebo has big shoes to fill. The rookie corner out of Stanford is going to compete right away for a starting job opposite Marshon Lattimore, facing competition from a mix of veterans (Patrick Robinson and P.J. Williams) and youngsters with a year or two of NFL reps already behind them (Grant Haley and Keith Washington Jr.), so he’s got his work cut out for him.
But the Saints targeted Adebo in a draft-day trade for good reason. They moved up from No. 98 in this year’s draft to get to No. 76, giving them the opportunity to add Adebo to their secondary.
