Patrick Robinson’s best year in second stint with Saints still came with injury trouble

In 2018, Patrick Robinson returned to the team that drafted him in 2010 out of FSU in the Saints first pick as defending champions. In his first two years back in New Orleans, he only managed to play 14 games and failed to record an interception. However, in 2020, he intercepted two passes and recorded 4 passes defensed in four starts. Even though he played his best football since rejoining the Saints, he still landed on injured reserve after Week 13 and did not return until the Playoffs.

Patrick Robinson’s interception against the Lions was one of two red zone picks he had this year

Robinson’s best game of the year was in Week 4 against the Detroit Lions, a game in which neither Marshon Lattimore nor Janoris Jenkins were able to suit up due to injury.
