It isn’t all bad in New Orleans. The Saints hung 34 points on the Raiders’ defense and Drew Brees, after a scary start ended the game with 424 yards, four TDs and, most hearteningly, no interceptions. The offense held its own throughout the game, rather than just operating in spurts, and looks to be the defining side of the ball for New Orleans once again.
While Sunday undoubtedly brought a difficult loss (and a tough 0-1 flavored pill to swallow), there were some good aspects to be recognized. The good news is, it was an entire side of the ball.
