METAIRIE, La. -- Ochnser Health System took issue with the claim that New Orleans Saints cornerback Delvin Breaux's fractured fibula was a "misdiagnosis" by the two orthopedists who were fired by the team last week.
ESPN first reported that the Saints fired team orthopedists Dr. Deryk Jones and Dr. Misty Suri, according to a source, after it was discovered that cornerback Delvin Breaux had a fracture in his fibula that was originally diagnosed as a contusion.
Saints coach Sean Payton later explained that Breaux's original X-rays and CT scan were negative.
