When you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. Chicago Bears wide receiver Javon Wims has been suspended for two games after punching New Orleans Saints safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson after a play during the Saints’ 26-23 victory on Sunday, which led to Wims being disqualified for the rest of the afternoon.

Frame-by-frame film study from Saints fan Evan Saacks on Twitter revealed an incident that may have sparked the fracas: on an earlier Bears possession, Gardner-Johnson appeared to snatch Wims’ mouthpiece from his face mask and toss it away where he couldn’t retrieve it.
