The New Orleans Saints have expressed interest in re-signing impending free-agent cornerback Sterling Moore, the Times-Picayune's Herbie Teope reports.
Moore started in 12 games last season after signing a one-year contract and took advantage of the opportunity. He had 13 pass deflections, a career-high 56 tackles and tied for the team lead with two interceptions.
The 27-year-old has bounced around a bit since entering the NFL, previously spending time with the New England Patriots, Dallas Cowboys and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of SMU in 2011.
