New Orleans Saints defensive tackle David Onyemata just can’t get out of his own way. According to a report from the Advocate’s Nick Underhill, Onyemata has been hit with another fine. This one is for unnecessary roughness against the Cincinnati Bengals, and carries a charge of $26,739, and will be his fourth fine on the year so far.
Onyemata had his first two penalties knocked down to $6,250 from an initial sum for $40,108 – which was more than Onyemata’s game check. He was hit with a third fine, this time for uniform violation, after playing a game against the Los Angeles Rams with his socks worn too low – which he is also appealing, citing muscle cramps.
