NFL fines Nickell Robey-Coleman for No-Call hit, Goodell still silent

It’s been almost a week since the NFC Championship Game in which one of the most notorious blunders in NFL officiating history occurred. The No-Call, yes, that’s the official name now, has been replayed and discussed enough that it doesn’t need to be rehashed here. Five days after the event, without a peep from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, at least some action was finally taken against Los Angeles Rams cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman, the player who laid the way too early hit on Tommylee Lewis that altered the outcome of that game.

The league announced that Nickell Robey-Coleman was being fined $26,739.
