The Saints have two chances to wrap up the number one seed in the NFC Playoffs. The first comes Sunday, Dec. 23, against the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Superdome. One win is all New Orleans needs to have the number one seed, a first round playoff bye and homefield advantage throughout the playoffs.
Should the Saints lose to the Steelers, they still have another chance on Dec. 30, again in the Superdome, against the Carolina Panthers who they have beaten in four straight. Monday night showed the Panthers still looked to have some fight in them as that defensive brawl ended in a 12-9 win for the Saints.
