The New Orleans Saints road to the Super Bowl starts now.
They are two years removed from the “Minneapolis Miracle,” and Saints find themselves matched up with a familiar foe in the Minnesota Vikings in what will be opening-round NFC Wild Card game at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome Sunday afternoon.
Last year, when these two teams faced off in a Sunday night Week 8 matchup, the New Orleans Saints came out victorious in a 30-20 defensive battle. Saints capitalized off of two costly turnovers by Vikings wide receiver Adam Thelin and quarterback Kurt Cousins that swung the momentum in the Saints favor.
