The New Orleans Saints take on the San Diego/Los Angeles Chargers on Saturday in the third preseason game for both teams. Before that, the teams will have joint practices against one another today and tomorrow. Traditionally, the third preseason is typically used as a "dress rehearsal" by teams in preparation for the opening week of the regular season. While some of the starters may play into the 3rd quarter, they will also have an opportunity to match up against the Los Angeles starters during their joint practice sessions. This will be the first chance that we see some of the Saints top players on the field for extensive snaps this preseason.
