When the Saints made the move to get Marcus Davenport in the 2018 NFL Draft, of course people would be talking. They used their 2018 first rounder and next year’s first round pick to get him. But, so far in training camp, the talk is about third round pick, wide receiver Tre’Quan Smith.
To be fair, the quarterbacks in training camp are wearing red jerseys. That means you can’t touch them. So there’s only so much Marcus Davenport can do until the gloves are taken off and he can go after an opposing team’s quarterback.
