No. 6: Linebacker Sam Mills
The Field Mouse was the defensive captain and leader of the great Dome Patrol defenses of the mid-1980s and early 1990s. The 5-9 Mills was the classic overachiever, who rose to the top of his profession after following a circuitous route to the NFL via Montclair (N.J.) State and the United States Football League. Mills made more than 100 tackles in eight of his 12 NFL seasons.
