The New Orleans Saints are signing former Buccaneers kicker Connor Barth following his tryout at rookie minicamp, according to ESPN.
The Saints cut veteran kicker Josh Scobee on Tuesday, opening up a space for another kicker to compete with Kai Forbath, who the Saints signed last year to replace the struggling Zach Hocker.
Barth was released by the Buccaneers after they traded up in the 2016 NFL Draft to select Roberto Aguayo in the second round.
Barth, 30, is a 8-year veteran who was with the Buccaneers from 2009-15. He has made 139-of-164 career kickers (84.
