Bleacher Report ran a piece on Tuesday (May 15) listing the top five second-year players in the NFL most likely to experience a “sophomore slump”. Saints running back Alvin Kamara was number five on the list.
Ahead of him on the list were Leonard Fournette, Kareem Hunt, Deshaun Watson and Cooper Kupp. My take on this is that it’s a laughable argument to put Kamara on a list like this. So we’ll take a look at the rationale and break it down.
We’ve all heard it by now. The other teams in the NFL have a year’s worth of game tape to plan on how to stop Kamara.
