The New Orleans Saints have signed linebacker Mike Mohamed, according to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.
Mohamed played for the Denver Broncos in 2011 after being selected in the sixth round out of the University of California. He bounced between practice squads in Denver, Jacksonville and Baltimore before signing with the Houston Texans in 2013.
Since 2011, he has accumulated a total of 71 combined tackles and an interception. After several moves Tuesday, including the releases of fullback Austin Johnson and defensive back Sammy Seamster, the New Orleans Saints had a spot open on their 53-man roster.
