The New Orleans Saints have signed veteran linebacker James Laurinaitis, the NFL Network reported Wednesday night.
Earlier Wednesday, the Saints signed linebacker Nate Stupar.
NFL teams can start signing free agents on Wednesday (March 9). We'll keep an updated tally of the Saints' moves right here.
Laurinaitis visited the Saints earlier this month after being released by the Los Angeles Rams in February.
Laurinaitis, 29, has been a middle linebacker for most of his career, so it's not certain where he will fit into the Saints defense.
