New Orleans Saints select DE Al-Quadin Muhammad in the sixth round of the 2017 NFL Draft

With the 196th pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, the Saints selected DE Al-Quadin Muhammad from Miami. Here is NFL.com overview of New Orleans new addition.

OVERVIEW

Off-field issues kept Muhammad from reaching his potential in Miami. He was suspended for the 2014 season after being part of an altercation after the team's spring game, and then was dismissed from the program as the NCAA investigated him with teammate Jermaine Grace for receiving illicit benefits from a luxury car rental company. Muhammad looked the part as a true freshman, playing as a reserve in all 13 games (eight tackles, two sacks).
