The New Orleans Saints have gotten some serious contributions from their rookie class, despite having lacked a first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. Top draft pick Erik McCoy has snapped the ball on 603 of 609 plays on offense, grading out as one of the NFL’s better centers despite his inexperience at the pro level. On the other end of the spectrum, undrafted free agent signing Deonte Harris might be the NFL’s most well-rounded returns specialist; he’s the only player in the league with 200-plus return yards on both punts and kickoffs.
Other rookies have stood out, too.
