According to the NFL transaction wire Tuesday, the New Orleans Saints released wide receiver Joe Morgan.
The move left two roster spots open on the team. You can mark punter Brandon Fields down for one following the release of safety Kenny Phillips, and offensive lineman Tony Hills for the other.

Joe Morgan has seen his fair share of struggles since joining the Saints as an undrafted free agent in 2011 out of Walsh University.
