The New Orleans Saints continue to prepare for the offseason by cutting players and freeing up cap room.
The Saints continue to make early cuts and have released guard Jahri Evans and linebackers David Hawthorne and Ramon Humber today, according the NFL transaction wire.
Evans has been with the team since being drafted in 2006 and ranks among the all-time greats in franchise history. He has been selected a six Pro Bowls during his career with the team. It is very likely the team could re-sign Evans to a more friendly contract.
