The New Orleans Saints put cornerback Kyle Wilson on injured reserve and signed defensive tackle C.J. Wilson in a pair of roster moves announced Friday by the team.
The team did not disclose the nature of the injury to Wilson, who participated in OTA and minicamp sessions observed by media.
Kyle Wilson joined the Saints in 2015, intercepted one pass and defensed four others. He played his first five NFL seasons with the New York Jets, who drafted him in the first round in 2010 out of Boise State.
The Saints recently put safety Jamarca Sanford on injured reserve, and the team also lost edge rusher Hau'oli Kikaha for the season with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
