The New Orleans Saints announced today that they have signed tight end RaShaun Allen to the active roster from the practice squad, have placed running back C.J. Spiller on Injured Reserve and have signed linebacker Jeff Luc and fullback Toben Opurum to the practice squad. The announcements were made by Saints’ Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis.
Allen, 6-4, 250, was originally signed by the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2014 out of Southern University. Between stints on the Seahawks and Vikings practice squad as a rookie, he spent six games on Seattle’s 53-man roster and played in one contest.
