New Orleans Saints LT Terron Armstead, TE Michael Hoomanawanui among players not practicing Monday

The New Orleans Saints returned to the practice field Monday without seven players in preparation for the preseason finale against the Baltimore Ravens.

Left tackle Terron Armstead, running back Marcus Murphy, tight end Michael Hoomanawanui, defensive back Jimmy Pruitt, linebacker Nate Stupar, cornerback Damian Swann and defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins (leg) were not present on the field during the stretching and conditioning portion of practice open to the media.

Armstead, Murphy, Hoomanawanui and Pruitt left last week's preseason contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers with injuries. Murphy suffered a concussion, while Armstead's, Hoomanawanui's and Pruitt's ailments are undisclosed.
