According to TSN’s Farhan Lalji, the New Orleans Saints have signed two defensive CFL players to reserve/future deals. Per the report, the team landed linebacker Adam Bighill of the BC Lions and cornerback Forrest Hightower of the Ottawa Redblacks. Both deals are for three years. They both previously worked out for the Saints on Dec. 13.
Bighill, 28, has been in the CFL since 2011 (all with the BC Lions) after going undrafted from Central Washington. The 5-foot-10, 230-pound linebacker played in 99 games in his stint, totaling 489 defensive tackles, 69 special teams tackles, 33 sacks, 8 interceptions, 8 forced fumbles, and a touchdown.
