With the No. 28 waiver priority, the Seattle Seahawks claimed Josh Gordon yesterday. They were just a few slots ahead of the New Orleans Saints at No. 30, and this may have been a pivotal loss for New Orleans.
By no means is it the end of the world, but the Saints could’ve used a player like Gordon, especially after skipping out on other No. 2 receiver during the hours leading up to the NFL’s October 29 trade deadline.
Although he may not be back till later in the season or early postseason, it is likely that he’s going to at least have another appearance this season.
