This is the last bit of guesswork before the Saints come out with their own, official, 53-man roster. There may still be some shuffling over the course of the week but the core will be there. Just a reminder of how much change we’ll be seeing after the last preseason games, each team is cutting down from a roster of 90 to a roster of 53.
Each team will be cutting 37 players. At 32 teams, that means 1,184 players will be hitting the waiver wires on August 30. All 32 teams will be able to claim players out of that group for their practice squads.
