News broke Monday afternoon that the New Orleans Saints are expected to sign former New York Giants quarterback Ryan Nassib. Nassib, a former Syracuse Orangemen, was drafted in the 4th round of the 2013 NFL Draft. In his college career, although he hasn’t had much playing time, Ryan Nassib totaled 128 yards, a completion percentage of 90%, 2 touchdowns, and an averaged passer rating of 152.1.
Although this move makes perfect sense for the Saints, a team with no “exact” backup in the waiting behind Drew Brees, it won’t be easy for Nassib. He, at this point, has to go through the experienced veteran quarterback Chase Daniel, and 2015 3rd round selection Garrett Grayson.
