The New Orleans Saints opened Day 2 of the NFL Draft by taking Utah safety Marcus Williams at No. 42, and now they traded up to nab the 67th overall pick to get Tennessee’s Alvin Kamara. The trade saw the Saints send a 2018 2nd Round pick and 7th Round pick to get the pick.
SB Nation’s Dan Kadar had Kamara rated 41st overall, and was his 4th highest running back prospect on his 100 player draft board.
BOTTOM LINE: Ascending, competitive runner who has flashed explosive NFL talent at various times over the last two seasons.
