Michael Thomas was the best receiver on the board when the New Orleans Saints picked in the second round. With Marques Colston gone, the pick is not a surprise, but some may want to argue there were/are other needs, and that’s very true.
However, At 6-foot-3, 212 pounds, Michael Thomas brings excellent size, good speed and quality athleticism. He could be the answer to the vacancy left by Colston and an immediate contributor in the red zone.
