Well, that certainly didn’t take long. According to a Tuesday morning report by Nick Underhill of The Advocate, the New Orleans Saints are bringing back Curtis Johnson.
While it would be safe to assume that Johnson would be returning as the team’s wide receivers coach, it’s certainly a quick move for the Saints. Johnson previously served in the same capacity from 2006-2011 before leaving the team to become Tulane’s head coach. Unfortunately, Johnson didn't have the type of success that was desired in his several seasons with the Green Wave, but would make a comeback with the Bears in 2016.
