There aren’t many positions that the New Orleans Saints are thin at, but wide receiver, over the course of the short season, has been one of them. Tre’Quan Smith, Austin Carr and Keith Kirkwood have all missed some time and could continue to miss time.
Ted Ginn Jr. has been playing, but he’s certainly been underwhelming, to say the least.
The Saints’ No. 2 has averaged 17 yards in the past two games. His only notable performance was in Week 1 when he went for 101 yards against the Texans. He’s also been consistently playing under 75% of the team’s offensive snaps.
