Son of former Detroit Lions Pro Bowl defensive lineman Luther Elliss, Kaden was a multi-year starter for the Vandals, amassing 278 total tackles, 47 stops for loss, and 17 sacks through his collegiate career.

Idaho's first draft selection since 2012, Elliss rose up some boards during postseason workouts. He played both inside and outside positions for the Vandals, with underrated speed around the edge and in pursuit, as well as able to capably fill run gaps.
