The New Orleans Police Department has issued a warrant against Cleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. According to a report from WDSU-TV in New Orleans, Beckham is charged with simple battery against a security officer after Monday night’s national championship game.
A video captured from the aftermath of the game shows Beckham making contact with the rear end of a police officer. Beckham was at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome to cheer on and celebrate his alma mater, LSU, beating Clemson to win the national title.
Beckham also made news for passing out cash to various LSU players following the victory.
