On Sunday, Sep. 2, the Saints lost two players who were likely practice squad candidates. The New York Giants scooped up sixth round pick Kamrin Moore and the Texans claimed fifth round pick Natrell Jamerson.
The story of these two players has been odd since they were drafted and points out a weakness in the way the Saints draft players. It’s hard to say the Saints draft philosophy has weaknesses after the haul they brought in during the 2017 NFL Draft. Aside from Al-Quadin Muhammad, cut and claimed by the Colts by the way, last year’s draft class may be the best in the history of the Saints franchise.
