Morten Andersen is one of the few former New Orleans Saints with a bronze bust in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, and also one of just two kickers to make that accomplishment. And he’s looking to share his knowledge and experience with a potential trailblazer in two-time World Cup champion Carli Lloyd, who has drawn NFL interest since booting an effortless 55-yard field goal at Philadelphia Eagles practice back on Aug. 20.
Besides her two World Cup titles, Lloyd has represented the United States of America with two Olympic gold medals, two FIFA player of the year nods, and three turns as captain of the national women’s soccer team.
