Mike Tomlin dismisses Saints slump: 'They need no endorsement for me'

Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has held his post for a long time, and he’s seen many great teams come and go. He’s also seen those teams sputter and stop, and sometimes bounce back. It’s why he isn’t eager to count the Saints out or look too deeply into their recent struggles on offense. Tomlin was quick to talk up the Saints in his Dec. 19 media availability:

“They are a 12-2 group. They need no endorsement for me. It seems like every week Drew (Brees) is breaking a new record. He does a great job of utilizing all the eligibles.
