METAIRIE, La. -- Michael Thomas is on pace for 96 catches, 1,143 yards and seven touchdowns in his sensational rookie season.
But New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton is making sure he doesn't get a big head about it.
Thomas posted a picture of himself and fellow Saints receiver Brandin Cooks on Twitter, asking for his followers to provide a caption.
Payton, of all people, chimed in -- asking, "OK, who's running the wrong route?"
Judging by Thomas' response, he may have been the guilty party -- though he responded with the laughing-through-tears emoji.
