Michael Thomas, Drew Brees building more rapport, among other Saints OTA observations

Michael Thomas uncharacteristically dropped a pass from Drew Brees on a simple out route in an individual drill with no defender guarding him. Even in an individual drill in early June, Brees used this as a teaching moment to his most potent receiving weapon.

The New Orleans Saints quarterback quickly walked over to Thomas. Brees seemingly consulted with Thomas on the route and then patted Thomas on the back. Thomas has said in possibly ever interview he's ever conducted how he's open and ready for guidance from his quarterback.

Thomas responded by making a couple of jump-ball touchdown receptions in separate team drills during Thursday's final organized team activity session.
