Saints rookie defensive end Marcus Davenport was out with a foot injury for Weeks 12-14 of the 2018 Season. He came back from that injury and played the remainder of the season and through two games in the playoffs. Now he’s revealing that he had surgery on Monday, Feb. 5.
What’s more interesting is that we’re just finding out that the injury to his foot was said to be season-ending and that Davenport apparently played through considerable pain in December and in the playoffs.
Admitting that the injury to his foot was still bothering him and that he played through the pain could get the Saints in some hot water.
