LSU’s Will Clapp taken by Saints in seventh

If you’re a fan of LSU football or even just someone who follows Saints mock drafts, you know the name Will Clapp. The former Bayou Bengal has been a part of dozens of mock drafts for the Saints over the past couple of months.

Clapp attended Brother Martin High School in New Orleans and was born in Metairie where the Saints are headquartered. He played football for LSU just like his father before him. And on Saturday, the Saints granted his childhood wishes by making him a part of the organization.

But unlike most of the later picks the Saints made in this draft, Will Clapp wasn’t a reach.
