After a year on the PUP list for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Louis Murphy is looking for a new team in free agency and will reportedly try out for the New Orleans Saints. Murphy looks to make the Saints’ roster despite the already crowded receiving corps.
Murphy has only played 16 games twice in his seven seasons. Neither of these seasons came in the last three years.
Murphy’s season grades have never eclipsed the PFF average grade of 70.0. His highest season grade came in 2015 (67.8).
The Florida product has only ranked in the top half of all receivers in drop rate and yards per route run twice in his seven seasons.
