Former New Orleans Saints assistant coach Joe Vitt has found a new job.
The Miami Dolphins hired Vitt as a consultant, according to a report from Sporting News. The report said Vitt has already been working with his new team this spring, primarily with the research staff.
Vitt joins his son-in-law, head coach Adam Gase, in Miami.
Vitt worked for the Saints from 2006-16 before the team dismissed him along with four other assistants in January. He coached linebackers and served as assistant head coach, and during Sean Payton's suspension in 2012, Vitt was the interim coach for 10 games after he served a six-game suspension.
