The New Orleans Saints (2-2) play host the Detroit Lions (3-2) in Week 6, and Sean Payton’s team is once again looking to crack the .500 mark. This is the fourth straight season that these two teams face off, with Sunday making the third straight appearance by the Lions in the Crescent City. You’ve probably heard it by now, but Detroit has had New Orleans’ number lately, winning three straight games from 2014-16.
Last season’s matchup saw the Saints struggle heavily on offense, and the crowd was taken out of the game very early in a 28-13 defeat.
