The New Orleans Saints had some familiar NFL faces in mandatory minicamp Tuesday.
Former Seattle Seahawks strong side linebacker Mike Morgan headlined a group that included rookie running back Darius Victor, guard Drew Iddings, kicker Patrick Murray, rookie quarterback Michael Birdsong, cornerback Dejaun Butler, defensive back Jhavon Williams, offensive lineman Chris Watt and long snapper Thomas Gafford present on a tryout basis.
"It's just another opportunity, a three-day opportunity, to evaluate a player and see where he's at," coach Sean Payton said. "Sometimes you're evaluating what kind of shape they're in. It's one thing to go in here for an hour without any type of pads, helmets or anything, work them out.
