LeCharles Bentley had some candid comments about recent remarks made by former LSU standouts Jamal Adams and Morris Claiborne about their willingness to die on the football field during the former New Orleans Saints standout's appearance on the Dunc & Holder radio show Tuesday.
Asked his reaction to separate comments from Adams and Claiborne that they were willing to die on the football field, Bentley said he empathized with the players but called them, among other things, "naive" and "immature."
"When you're young, you don't understand your mortality," said Bentley, who starred for the Saints from 2002 to 2005.
